The Bamboo series by Wacom is their answer to Microsoft's Microsoft Pen Protocol(MPP) and Apple's Active Stylus tech and is made compatible with MPP-based pens too.Īlbeit its popularity amongst digital artists, it does have some unfortunate bugs due to the complicated addition of multiple technologies. Same issues seems to be happening. The Stylus is a peculiar technology that has had its peaks and troughs throughout its lifespan on the touch input side of the tech world.īut throughout this spectrum, one company has stood strong with deep belief and adoption rate in the stylus tech market: Wacom.īut even their proprietary Electro-Magnetic Resonance(EMR) based stylus tech was overtaken by the tech giants in Apple and Microsoft with their pen technology. Thanks!Īs a side note I reinstalled Adobe Premiere and the pen is no longer working with it either. I was hoping someone here might have a solution. I've tried reaching out to wacom and MS but never heard anything back. Again, if I click with the mouse all the control points I attempted to place with the pen will process very quickly and show on the screen.

That being said if I click with the mouse all the actions I've tried to do with the pen process really quickly.Īnother example is if I select the pen tool (ps tool) and try to use the pen (wacom pen) it'll only place the first control point down and no other. If I go to change the tool, the sub menus will appear but I wont be able to select anything. If I tap the screen with the pen it'll place a dot (brush tool) but it will not create a stroke if I drag the pen. For example if I create a new file I can draw for a second then it'll stop. The best way I can describe the issue is the pen is getting stuck in a "clicked" state. Everything has been updated to the latest drivers. I just reformatted the laptop just to make sure and this issue is still there.

I uninstalled / reinstalled all drivers and photoshop still did nothing. I've tried the wintab UseSystemStylus 0 solution did not work. I assume the issue has to do with the latest update from MS as it was working just fine before the update, however all the solutions I have found online haven't worked.

However it does work with all my other software (ex. The wacom pen that came with my lenovo thinkpad is no longer working with photoshop CS5. I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out. (previously was turned off to fix the pen from a previous win10 build) Turn back on Press and Hold for Right-click. I have got it working for the moment, but I am not sure why this has fixed the issue.
